AVAILABILITY
It is possible that a piece listed on the site could be sold, and that the site has not yet been updated to reflect its sale. In this case, I regret any inconvenience and will refund any payments made for items which are not available.
Before buying, please do not hesitate to contact me personally with any questions about Touchstones. Email works best.
CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY
Tarnishing is a natural process caused by oxidation, and does not damage silver. Tarnish can easily be removed by rubbing the piece gently with a soft, treated polishing cloth. Polishing cloths may be purchased at local jewelry stores and department stores.
If you want to "brighten up" your silver, it's easy and you don't have to use chemicals like silver polish. Just place your silver in a non-coated aluminum pan with a couple spoonfuls of baking soda and pour boiling water into the pan. Make sure you don't use a favorite pan as the oxidation from the silver will be transferred to the aluminum pan. Or try something they do in Thailand — soak your beads in lemon or lime juice — diluted with a little water. Just be sure to thoroughly dry your jewelry after exposing it to water.
Avoid chlorinated water, salt water, abrasives and sterling silver dips to be on the safe side. Moisture, especially in an enclosed storage space, will tarnish sterling silver, loosen jeweler cement (used for stone setting) and weaken springs and clasps.
COMMISSIONS
If you would like to commission any custom-made jewelry just email me your details (including your phone number) and I will call you back to discuss your ideas with you. Please allow 6 weeks from our initial plan to delivery.
WEDDINGS & MORE MEMORABLE OCCASIONS
I would love to create something for you which would reflect the beauty and importance of one of the most special events in life and, indeed, any other truly special event. Jewelery is the perfect gift for these wonderful occasions and is something that can be handed down to our daughters and, in turn, their own children in the knowledge that it was created with love and worn by someone loved.
